We have known the deceased to be a Humble, Committed, Law-abiding and a friendly person ready to work in a team who share the same thought and vision to achieve results. He was development oriented and against all odds would opt for what would bring relieve to the majority of the people. This is exemplified by the stance you took to support the creation of the Oti Region to include the present Guan District in the face of stiff oppositions from your own home.
Anticipating the long term benefits your people and the Region stands to derive from the creation of the Region, you defied all odds and campaigned and supported vigorously in this direction. You were also an active member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and played meaningful roles in the party to keep it alive in the Hohoe Constituency when Guan District was a part.
You have good interpersonal relations and love your country. Inspite of the fact that most part of your life time was spent abroad, you always kept in touch with your homeland. A Day to your confirmation as the first District Chief Executive of the newly created Guan District, you visited your counterpart District Chief Executive at Jasikan for some consultations and little did we know that, this was the last time some of us were taking a glimpse of you.
It was with deep sorrow and heavy heart that we received the news of your demise some few days later the time we needed you most. But we recognized that the Almighty God knows better. Our prayer is that the Good Lord gives you Eternal Rest till we meet on the resurrection Day!!!
