TRIBUTE BY IN-LAWS

Where can I go from your Sprit? Where can I flee from your presence?

If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your

hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.

Psalm 139: 7-10

Our brother-in-law, Marlon, the day you left this earthly place was a day no one ever expected. Some of us were together with you a few days before, and again some of us face-timed you in the afternoon of Monday November 15, 2021, to chat with you and catch a glimpse of your new office, without any clue that there was not going to be another moment to chat and joke again.

None of us could understand why, and none of us had the chance to even say goodbye. But deep inside each of us, we know that you are okay and resting peacefully in the bosom of the Lord.

Each of us had a certain unique and memorable relationship with you. And we all remember your goofy laughs, your hilarious jokes, and your dancing moves, whether dancing to Borborbor or music by Cool and the Gang.

We remember all the good things that you used to do, which have left lasting impressions and indelible memories in our thoughts. We cannot express how thankful and lucky we were to have you as our brother-in-law.

So, this is our goodbye letter, letting you know that we miss you, and love you. Things will never be the same without you.

Until we meet again, Rest Peacefully.

FROM FECHIN

Uncle Marlon, we are missing your usual call out to your sister, ‘Sister Gloria la piaa or apiaa’? I have nothing more to add to what your nieces and nephew have written to you. In these parting words, I just say we cherished you very much, but God wants you up there to continue your work. Can’t hold up my tears as l write this piece.

I now clearly understand the Macbeth prose: –

‘’ Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets his hour upon the stage
And then is heard no more
‘’

Rest soundly with the LORD,
